GTB Refurb Community – Sikh Place of Worship, School & Community Centre

Multi-phase refurbishment of a four-story building in the centre of Leicester. Works included structural alterations, new drainage, screed floors, new ceilings and doors, restoration of steel columns, accessible toilets, heating and ventilation and full redecoration.

Phase 1 - Community centre & gymnasium
Phase 2 - 8 new classrooms on the upper floor, prayer rooms, a music room, an assembly room, and a plant room on the roof
Phase 3 - Langar room – a separate community food hall
Phase 4 - Wedding hall with capacity for 300-400 guests.
Phase 5 - Catering kitchen & toilets
