Commercial - Office Extension & Conversion

Conversion of a run-down former plant hire building into modern open-plan offices with breakout spaces for employees. Including a feature atrium with a bespoke staircase, first-floor link corridor to existing fully occupied office building, a roof deck and catering facilities, as well as space for future expansion and installation of EV charging points . The project was a finalist in the ProCon Leicestershire Property & Construction Awards 2023.

Significant Structural Alterations - the construction of a first-floor link between the two buildings necessitated significant structural alterations including roof replacement and strengthening, and removal/replacement of the first floor, whilst the adjacent building remained occupied
Roof Light Adaptations - roof to warehouse area was adapted to incorporate 18 new roof lights
Live Environment - refurbishment and extension work delivered adjacent to fully occupied office space including construction of link corridor and atrium over main building access routes
Emergency Access - located adjacent to a Police Response Unit, our logistics strategy complied with the corresponding ‘Red Zone’ including prohibited use of the area to ensure safe and continuous access for emergency vehicles
