It has been 1 year since Horia Hirica joined Scope Construction for 2 months of work experience with the BrightER Futures programme

Horia was tasked with designing an extension to the current Scope office. This saw him taking what he learned at De Montfort University and applying it to a real-world scenario. With his initiative, he realised early on in the process that he would have to consider client/stakeholder needs, costs, logistics, and feasibility.

Horia said “I have had the great opportunity working with Scope. Working in a live environment has given me great insight into working alongside a main contractor in a dynamic and energetic environment. The team have entrusted me with working on the design of their new concept office and I managed to further develop my knowledge in this regard. I want to thank Maz, Paz, Jo, Richard and Amaan for their kindness and help.”
 
It was a pleasure hosting Horia during his two months with us, and we wish him all the best in the future. He will be an asset to whoever hires him!
